Slight reduction but shows melon rind and rocky/chalky minerality; Reserved and shy at first, this needs to breathe and open up to reveal moderate weight with earth-tones and tree fruit. Excellent balance, chalky extract, good acid, well-integrated barely noticeable oak treatment. Very enjoyable, traditional style Burg.

Tasting with Jacques Lardiere from Louis Jadot (Praelum Wine Bar): First thought was that this was quite Riesling-like from the aromatic profile and the zing on the palate. Clean and pure acidity though not lean at all. A complete but not complex wine. Very good for what it is.
