Medium yellow gold. Rich, forward nose of buttered nuts, green plums, pear williams, smoke and minerals. Fat and fully ready on the palate with very ripe pear and baked apple flavors held toghther with nice acids and rounded out with a generous helping of smokey oak. Very good cencentration here. Finishes with nutty oak and yellow fruit confit flavors. A very nice Beaune with unexpected balance and harmony for a 2003. A white for drinking in the next 5 years.

Jadot Tasting with Jacques Lardiere (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Don't think I have ever had Jadot's Beaune Grèves blanc before from any vintage. Ripe fruit aromas and flavors but good balance and consistency from start-to-finish.

Jadot Tasting with Jacques Lardiere (Knightsbridge): Nice rich ripe yellow fruit chardonnay. Young but nice, and not overripe for the vintage. 91-92pts.
