  Clear tawny red with slightly browning rim no tears. Sweet warm nose of cherry and marmite. Dry, medium body, medium tannins, medium+ acidity, high alcohol, long finish, medium flavour intensity, cherry, mild oak, hint of something slightly tar like. Excellent - had this in an authentic Italian restaurant in Montepulciano called il cuvo, we were informed this was one of two bottles one under cork the other screw cap (an experiment in aging). The hue was quite mature for a wine only 10 years old but the nose was warm with alcohol and an interesting bovril note. The palate was long and warm with characteristic cherries, could age another 5 years before it might lose balance - excellent 91/100 4/5 (l)

  Typisch Sangiovese in der Nase. Am Gaumen weich mit leichten Tanninen und wunderbar reif und rassig. Nicht dekantieren
