Clear, deep, garnet, no deposit; nose: clean, med intensity, dark overripe fruits, cherry, plum, a bit of black pepper, some oak, developing; palate: acidity med+, alcohol high, tannin med, med body, med intensity, dark fruits, cherry, black cherry, plum, a bit peppery, light oak, finish med+. Very good, drink now, suitable for short keeping. Poor enough in intensity, strict in fruitiness, has well-integrated alcohol.
Deep, opaque purplish red in color. On the nose, this shows red fruits, oak, earth, tobacco, and a touch of the green meanies. This is fairly full bodied on the palate, with good concentrated fruit and some unripe tobacco leaf. There is a nice acidity and decent balance on display here, and the wine finishes with rustic tannins.
