  • Deep, opaque purplish red in color. On the nose, this shows red fruits, oak, earth, tobacco, and a touch of the green meanies. This is fairly full bodied on the palate, with good concentrated fruit and some unripe tobacco leaf. There is a nice acidity and decent balance on display here, and the wine finishes with rustic tannins.
