  By the look at the cork, I was ready to go and fetch another bottle but....what a marvelous wine that was! Fully mature and still full of life Burgundy, the funk I associate Prieur with,
  the long finish, tannins, acidity, all in the perfect balance. What a pleasant surprise!

  The bottle had signs of sippage, the cork just slide out and the wine was well over it's peak. Still drinkable, excellent nose of truffle mushrooms, no maderezation. It was interesting drink but I won't be buying more of it.
