It was better than Keith's old note of "78 points", but overall just an okay drink. Nothing wrong, just nothing particularly good.

Thick and sloppy.
Burgundy Boozers do aged burgundy/bordeaux/cali, cult cali cab, and.. a Loring Pinot!? (Golden Truffle, Newport Beach, California): When it was initially popped the wine had a harshness to the red fruit, it was rough and there was a bit of that sour acid. Later on in the night we went back to it and it shed the sourness and picked up fine grain tannins and a woodsey taste and had a silkier texture to integrate with white flowers and prominent earthy red fruit.
