Medium intensity nose. Slightly spicy. A bit herbaceous. Raspberries, hint of violets, touch of minerality. Subtle notes of oak, cola and gun-powder. Qute restrained. Medium-fullish, spicy palate. Cranberries and sour red cherries. Some cinnamon and gently oaky. A bit lean. Quite acidic. Slightly four-square. Should be more generous considering the vintage. Made a more lush appearance two years ago.

Very transparent colour (even for a Pinot). Tempting aromas, this calls for a treat! Balanced acidity, mature pinot characters, a lot of dark-red fruit. This wine is probably past its peak, but still very good! This really feels like a pinot with age, even if it's just 7 years right now. Read something about a warm vintage. Don't know if thats the reason why, but this 2009 is probably not the greatest purchase if your intention is to keep for a while in cellar.
Buy and drink now, but dont keep this longer!
