A really tasty if uncomplicated PN from Carneros. Nice PN nose, with bourbon barrel wood and smoke and darker berries; a blast of pure, delicious berry flavors (blueberries, cranberries) up front and forest floor in the background, with well-integrated tannins; the flavors fade a bit through the midpalate, and the finish is a little short. Much better a few days after opening, suggesting that a good long decant and/or a few more years in the bottle could be in order.

Some good pinot noir flavors. Open and drinking well, now. Decent QPR for $16.20 retail, in Princeton
