Some cracked egg shells and marine life on the nose which is not present whatsoever on the palate. Not terribly deep, but the impression is bright and of pale yellow fruit. Paired nicely with salmon although it wasn't much of a conversation piece.

Twenty Appellations of Burgundy (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): A little funky on the nose, with something quite awkward, though it's subtle and underlying. Distracting. The palate is more elegant, with nice peach flavors, mild acids, and mild tartness. There's a good dial up of richness and acidity on the finish. Nice and intensity and decent depth. Nice balance but not too complex. Certainly will grow from here. 90+

Strong sour tart apple taste to start. Unusual nose. No question the most unusual Chablis I've ever tasted.
