Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Once again, this Mazis shows a wonderful nose. Floral tones with macerated red fruits with a touch of cassis. Like in the previous bottle, there's a hinf of menthol. Not very focused on the mid-palate, it still offers plenty of fruits and earthy notes. Not the most complex wine but this is really nice. Based on the 2 bottles, this is a wine to drink now as, while this can hold a few years, I don't see it improving at all.

  • Powerful wild nose upon opening with a long retro-olfaction. Enticing nose. Floral, Dark fruits with leather and a touch of licorice. A whiff of menthol and tobacco. A hint of stem. A little less expressive on the 2nd day (just recorked overnight, not pumped with vaccuvin). Still an impressive effort for the vintage. Very good.
