Very fragrant, semi-sweet nose, apple, orange, mandarin notes on the nose. Crunchy, tart apple, with a lime, orange note, pretty dry, just a tinge of sweetness, long lasting finish. Well balanced and delicious. This is pretty remarkable for $14.

Served pretty cold. Nice touch of effervescence. Expressive, distinctive Riesling nose, apple, mineral, tinge of petrol. Some sweet apple on the palate, but mainly crunchy deliciious crab apple fruit, maybe a hint of orange, nice long finish, showing some sweetness. Lovely with some homemade thai red curry.

Nice wine. Dark straw color. Some petrol and lemon aromas. More sweetness than expected but not overdone and good balance with some citrus and acidity. Rich and full bodied.

Wait, that was fourteen bucks?!? Sure, it wasn't the most complexly detailed Kab, but it was tasty and well-balanced, even if I wouldn't have minded a touch more acid and a pinch less sugar. Delicious with dinners over three nights, from takeout Thai to sweet-spiced lamb meatballs with spaghetti squash to beef-in-green-salsa tacos with a bit of feta. Punched (even further) above its price (than typical for high-value Mosel Riesling).

Still drinking well. Pleasantly smooth with age and a touch of sweetness. Simple and aromatic.
