Medium-intensity aromas of oak, blackberry and currant in this red wine. Medium-full bodied with flavours of black fruits, cedar, currant and cinnamon. Mouth-watering acidity and a medium-long finish. Chalky tannins will allow cellaring for 2+ years. This is a big Gamay.

Deep purple color. Medium body. Nice complexity; dark fruit, spice, and savory elements with a soft smooth texture. Lean and restrained with mild acidity and tannins. Very good quality.

Thursday Night Mixed Bag (Andrew's House): Popped and poured, followed for approximately 30 minutes. Deep ruby in the glass. On the nose, notes of cherry and pepper are predominant, with a touch of earth and mineral notes, adding a touch of complexity. On the palate, this really falters; tastes of pepper, underripe cherry and cranberry, which are very bitter and unpleasant. The finish is moderate, although, on this one, I wished it was short. Not recommended.

Cherry and a touch of pepper on the nose. Medium bodied with red fruits, some more pepper, minerality and a bright acidity.
