P: LM body; LOVELY, ALMOST swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which fairly seamlessly transitions into a LONG, POSS very, VERY slightly bitterish finish with a tangy/swtness to the very, VERY fine tannins. For now with food, may improve through '21, then making its 15th... easily. 13% ABV; My EXC/EXC+. 94 pts John Gilman (June '12)

Opened last night. Light ruby, color weakening. Decent legs. Nose rather shy, but with hints of roses and orange peel. Much bolder in the mouth, round and medium-bodied, with nice earthy characteristics to add complexity to the pretty fruit flavors. Not quite up to Grand Cru standards, the reasonable price ($75) helps makes this a good buy anyway. Not really showing any signs of decline, it is still quite developed for its relatively young age. 4-11-16-8: 89/100.

Bought on vintage. Great value, best to drink on open, fruit faded over an hour or so. tannins resolved, very smooth.
