  • Dark gold with bernstein hue. Expressive nose of caramel, saffron, seaside, iodine and apples, very complex. On the palate ethereal and sweet with nice acidity.

  • Dark golden/almost amber color. Explosive nose of ripe pears/apples, peaches, honey, a touch of safran, some smoke, minerality/petrol, iodine, and again minerality. Medium-full body with a very high viscosity (it really feels thick when you are drinking it), without any traces of heaviness, high acidity and high sweetness. It has an incredibly long finish. Breath-taking "Eiswein" from one of Germany's best producers and from a top-notch vintage in Rheingau. Very complex and absolutely perfect balance of sweetness/body and acidity.
