Wife strongly disliked this wine but I actually found it to be good value for money. She detected a pervasive petroleum smell that reminded her of artifically added alcohol. I actually thought it was a farly balanced and typical coonawarra cabernet sauvigon with dark fruit balanced by chocolate and a menthol aftertaste.

{screwcap, 14%} A bit stalky a bit herby - much the same as last time, although this was drunk over lunch with the chance to be much pickier than my previous post-concert-euphoria-induced review. THus, it's not quite so impressive; in the sense that subsequent glasses pall somewhat; you become more aware of the thinness of the wine and the relative coarseness of the tannins. It remains very decent for the money though; as a medium-bodied cabernet at the modest end of the spectrumk it would be hard to do better. Only keep 3 years though.

Very fruity on the nose and a lot of sweet berry on the palate. Fine tannin with a small amount of green stalk after taste. Medium length, will do well with a bit of decanting. Cellar no more than 5 years. Overall, for a A$13 bottle of wine, I can't complain. UPDATE - 2 hours after decanting the wine opens up nicely. Sweet tasty fruits with slight herbaceous taste. This looking like a great value wine.
