Muted but insistent aromas of raspberries and herbs, not heavy, but pure and clean and fine. Cool palate, racy with a lot of vibration, dark fruit, tar, praline, black cherry, cassis and raspberry. Lot of acidity, with silky, fine-grained tannins. Salty and rocky minerality as one would expect from this stony vineyard, which in 2010 dominates the fruit more than in 2009. First after 2.5 hours does the wine's fruit become a very sharp and concentrated fulmination of its red components, mostly raspberries. After 3 hours the wine starts to sink again in its mineral components. Very aristocratic and elegant and smooth wine.
