A rather non-descript burg. Clumsy oak compensates for very little fruit. Beautiful golden body. Recalcitrant nose. Some peach and apricot, some honey after an hour. Short finish. Not a damaged bottle as far as I can tell; quite disappointing.

Paired with Broiled Maryland Crab cake. There is only one word to define this wine "Wow". You know a wine is great when your guests can't stop talking about the wine. There are not many other white burgundies that I prefer to this wine, even Montrachet. Every mouthful is a joy. Rich, but not too rich, fruity, but not too fruity, with some acid that will allow this wine to age gracefully. I have some 15 year old Meursault Genevrières in my cellar that is still drinking well, although not from this producer.
