  my 6/20 note says it well (tho I obviously didn't listen to myself -- was supposed to wait on this last bottle ten years, only waited six months!), again this is lighter on its feet (in a good way) than many burly 2006's I've had recently... great wine but not a great QPR at $225

  second night in a row for '06 burgs and this one didn't disappoint... beat out the Chevillon NGS Vaucrains '06 by two points... decanted this three hours (should have done more) and had over two hours, really nice - almost bracing - Beze spice, with a foundation of darkish red cherries and some significant minerals... the spice won the race, as we finished the bottle I was thinking I would have loved to have gassed it up and seen what night two would have brought... I only have one more bottle but if I'm smart (often not, unfortunately) I'll wait ten years for the 2nd bottle... and btw, unlike my early impression of '06, this wine had very nice acidity
