  • Acquired recently from the winery’s library release. Glad I did. Perfectly aged. Fruit still plentiful but refined, has a soft mouthfeel and integrated tannins Nice mulberry fruit flavors with slight tart, along with plum, cedar and leather. Mild leathery tannins make for a refined finish. Nice to be able to acquire a library wine of this quality at a reasonable ($75) price.

  • So disappointing- It was badly corked! Undrinkable.

Wow, this is an incredible wine. I would have liked to have saved this for several more years, but we wanted to share our bottle with friends in PAG and turn the owner of Fetish’s restaurant (one of the best fine dining restaurants in the Tampa area) on to it. We decanted it and drank it over two hours. This was a very full bodied wine and was still opening up as we finished the bottle. Decanting was worth watching as the wine poured a deep beautiful purple down the sides. The bouquet was dramatic with the powerful dark fruits of black cherries and black currents bursting into your senses. As it reached your palate, you could taste the fruit, dark chocolate, spice and herbs along with a little earth associated with Bordeaux style. The wine was a near perfect balance with the blending of acid and tannins just coating your tongue in velvet. The finish was long with the same powerful ending as the beginning. Jan and I plan on purchasing more to hold for a few years.

  • 93 Points “There is a certain sense of crafting and seamlessness...it shows more sophistication. It is a wine clearly meant for the cellar. Wait for five years at least, ten if you have the patience.” Connoisseurs’ Guide

  • Had at the Tasting Room this is a great Cab, lots of Cherry and Mocha, although it needs to lay down for 3-5 years.
