Later night pop n' pour. Good density and concentration for a Bourgogne. Meaty and earthy black fruit. Doesn't show the ripeness of vintage as there is good countering acids. Good now, should hold for many years and perhaps pick up some complexity.

Cherries (almost Kirsch-like) dominate, with earth notes and good acidity. Not terribly complex, but I do sense that this wine will benefit from more bottle age.

N Lovely red colour, not much of a bouquet. Rather astringent on the plate with not much fruit. Austere palate, best with food and for people with dry palates. Top producer, top year but Bourgogne el basico.

Christmas with Family; 12/21/2020-12/25/2020: Beautiful Burgogne rouge. Went well with the fried duck breast.

Good ripe fruit that is nicely checked by structure so it's all in balance. Better than your average Bourgogne though not special or distinguished.
