Opened for two hours and served @ 65 F in Riedel Vinum Burgundy stems. Clear with medium deep garnet color, Nose dominated by damp earth, tart cherries . Medium acid levels with medium body. Palate is in line with nose with sour cherries, and some earthy herbaceousness . This wine didn't offer much in the way of a finish, very stemmy. We didn't finish the bottle

Very disappointed with this Dugat Bourgogne. Lots of animal leather which I don't expect from a burgundy wine. On the palate was also very disappointing with flat acidity and concentrated alcohol.

Tasted blind. This was terrible. Harsh tannins, very little fruit, green and completely un-Burgundy-like. Three wine lovers tasting this blind could not identify this wine as Pinot Noir or Burgundy.

(Dugat-Py Bernard Bourgogne Cuvée Halinard) Medium, medium-plus colour. The nose shows lots of oaky funk - this needs at least 2 hours to fade; afterwards there is a strong resemblance to the basic bourgogne - lovely red, slightly dried fruit set against a greenish malo background. The palate is more serious and concentrated vs the basic with a considerable increase to the length. Now we have a wine that definitely competes with decent village wines, but factoring in the price I'm a little unsure of the 'value', but anyway, this (in isolation) is a very good wine.

Initially a bit hard and not all that generous. Softens with some air. Overall rather simple with some green meanie herbal notes.

Beautiful nose - herbs, red fruit, burg funk. Palate never fleshes out and leaves a thin astringent taste in the mouth.
