  Gentlemen, start your engines! This wine is firmly in the drinking window and ready to show you what it has! Uncorked and poured a dark crimson. Looked to be a medium bodied wine by the pour and density in the glass, but the nose was classic Oakville. On the front was a darker wine than I think others experienced. Blackberry core with licorice. A little bit of heat on the front, even after 2 hours of enjoyment. Mid-palate is where this wine actually lightens up a bit, showing more mature red fruit syrup. The finish is oaky, strong, a bit sweet actually, with a sharp tannin. Overall, this wine was good, and is probably drinking better right now than those reported in 2012. If you have a few of these in your cellar, I'd drink one now so that you can get a sense of where this one is. Still 5 years away from being a pop and pour, and 10-15 before it's done. Window on this one is 2013-2022.

  Decanted for 3 hours, nice pour , nice nose , way to young yet and not near as good as the 2008 & 2007 I will wait a year till a try another one.
