  Quite ripe, with cherry and licorice on the nose. Palate with plenty of acidity that dissipated with air but was a little watery and not very concentrated. Finish was medium length, showing licorice flavors along with stone. Complete, balanced, and pleasant, with fine tannins but not a lot of depth.
