Slow ox 3 hours after pouring small glass to check it. Absolutely delicious. Spicy, floral, elegant and long. Silky on the palate. Good to go but will age gracefully so no rush on the next one

Notably darker and more animal compared to the 04 and 08 Groffier Beze. Dense palate but not showing its fullest despite 3 hour of air. It should have been more ready. Perhaps root day?

(2010 Bruno Clair tasting with two reference wines) Full and rich nose. Perfumed style with red fruit and coffee. Indish spices and sandalwood. Gun-powder minerality. Complex and deep. Lovely and clean. Medium-fullish, very rich palate. Both concentrated and balanced. Very elegant. Very perfumed, pure fruit. Succulent. Quite oaky. The only thing detracting is a whiff of brett that is noticeable on the palate. Voted WOTN ahead of 2010 Bruno Clair Clos de Beze and Clos St Jacques. Drink or hold.

Burgundy Dinner with Friends (S.K.Y. Restaurant - Chicago IL): Bright red cherries and berries from start-to-finish with savory spice, good weight and very elegant textures. so much better than another bottle tasted last year. Consensus Wine of the Night.

Chambolle Northside 1er (Zoom / Chicago): Not a great showing as the wine is very stern, brooding and angular. Odd to see a 2010 that is this shut down (or shut down at all for that matter). Perhaps a mid-80s showing but should be better in this vintage.
