I thought the second was just about the same as the first, but it hit the spot more for my wife this time. A little oak, a little spice, a little cola, and a little bit of money. Not complaining a bit.

No real dispute about this wine. Super inexpensive, serviceable pinot for a weeknight with store bought (albeit Whole Foods, not Swansons) chicken pot pie. Wife didn't think much of it, but we didn't pour it down the sink, and she drank more than a glass, I'm pretty sure. Good thing is the ABV is probably even lower than the stated, so no problem finishing a bottle. But past its prime? C'mon, it's barely 4 years old! The prime just wasn't that great--this was never better than a $10 bottle.

I got this at Grocery Outlet for $7. Showed signs it was past it's prime, possibly a bit cooked. Probably was a nice wine about a year or so earlier...

Almost jammy in its plum flavor, with a little spice. At first taste I did not know if I would really like it, but after I finished drinking it my taste buds were "working for fun".

Peppery and plum nose. Very light red berry flavors, no tannin, almost flat. Pleasant but nondescript.
