Burgundy coloured. The legs are average and there was no sediment in the bottle. The nose is dark and brooding, forest floor and mushroom compote with nutmeg and cloves. Medium body with reasonable length. It has dry leathery texture with dusty tannin. Not much fresh fruit. A little dry and titanic on the finish. Enjoyable all the same.

Nice Bourgogne which while pricey is probably qualitywise on par with a lot of village wines. Good concentration, fruit forward and well balanced. Drank well on pop and pour. Not a lot of depth but pretty tasty. Good restaurant wine.

Strikingly tannic, and a little closed. Might need some time? Price is up there for an AC Bourgogne.
