From old vines (app. 35 years old) in the village of Pommard but outside the AOC. The slightly deeper soils produce a wine that has slightly less minerality and is more fruit-focused and therefore approachable at a younger age. This is borne out perfectly by the wine: floral nose with bright red and black fruit, hints of earth and wood and a cool minerality; on the palate medium-weight, precise and focused, with refreshing acidity; good length. A very good Bourgogne tout court, but not inexpensive with its price tag of just over € 20.
