At the BA lounge by the glass and given it was the last in e bottle this was probably there for a good 30 mins. Lots of green pepper on the nose, very spicy across to be honest. Did not expect that. Medium bodied wine , some rough, dry edges to it and gives a light port feel , cooked on re finish. Better with food but the food would probably be better wi out it. 82

Decanted one hour. Nose of sweet red fruits, brown sugar, and grilled herbs. Ripe raspberry, plum, and blueberry on the palate with smoked meat and warm spices, great weight and enough acid to keep balance. Tannins were just present enough to hold the structure together. Tastefully done.
