  • Mmm, darn, this is a LOT nicer than I recall. Sweet yet dripping with minerality. Nice vibrancy with a good sweet and sour character. Not a terribly complex wine but delivering so much value for what it is.

  • Very light clear straw like color and a sharp nose of limeade and still a touch of minerals. A full mouth feel of fresh fruit and acidity that still had a little spriz to it, very refreshing and my last 03 bottle.

  • Pale straw color.
On day one: sulfur, pineapple and huge minerality with a medium acidity.
Day two: the sulfur is gone, notes of petrol are now present on the nose and the palate. Tropical fruits more forward than yesterday. Acidity is pretty much the same. Good wine.

  • Same clear color and minerality on the nose with the usual citrus, and a little melony sweetness this time. In fact it seemed to be overall a little sweeter to me than the previous times we have enjoyed this wine, and as our guests liked it, and with the low alcohol, we ended up drinking two bottles over conversation. Again, good QPR.

  • Might have been chilled a little too much as the nose at first was a little muted, but had that tropical twang with an undercurrant of minerality. Not as balanced as the '02, but still had that crisp acidity to go with the sweetness and the spritz...and went very well with my wife's spicey and fresh tortilla soup. A few bucks more than the '02, but still a crowd pleaser and as such...a good QPR.
