2009 Bruno Colin Santenay – Vielle Vignes – Sour/Black Cherry masked by heavy barnyard funk/Brett-like on the nose. Palate – almost robbed of fruit mostly cherry skin/stem, black tea – young – aggressive chalky tannin. Hints of spice. High acid. Finish unremarkable bearing little fruit. Unclear whether this will ever come into anything resembling an equilibrium. Fruit never really came out over 4 hour period open to air. This one looks lost to heavy effects of Brettanomyces.

Decent fruit but not well balanced...tannins didn't soften at all. Can Do much better at this price point.
