At M.B. Restaurant in Tenerife with truffle gelatin on bed of smooth foie gras cream - Definitely a food wine, weight in the glass, quite strong oak that suits the wine giving it nice depth. Outstanding in this pairing. Not a wine I would be having on its own though. Very interesting and recommended.

Spain Tasting (The Good Wine Shop, Chiswick): Honeyed nose, ripe tropical fruit.
Slightly oaky but very fruity, full, with an elegant finish, long.
