  Unscrewed one hour in advance. Intriguing aroma of dirt and spice. Forward flavors of red fruit. Solid acid backbone all the way through that really kicks in on the sour cherry finish. Rich, full, lively, complex. Great stuff, wish I had more.

  (14.2%) 56% Nebbiolo, 30% Syrah, 9% Mourvedre, 2.5% Rousanne, 2.5% Viognier – Pure, focused and powerful on the palate with clean cherry and pomegranate-ish fruit. This is framed by a herbal, mineral backbone coupled with a nice acidity which leads to a peppery, spiced finish with finely grained tannins that dry nicely. I almost wish I could have just enjoyed the whole bottle without having to pause so I could take this note. Sadly it is sold out now; get it if you can!
