Very tasty, pale blue-ish redish ruby color; tangy but sweet cassis-black raspberry-blueberry flavors; very pure, easy, fun, fruity. Quite tasty and maybe like more than the Framboise.

I honestly can't remember the last time I tried the Cassis, but I certainly now know what I was missing out on all these years. For me this was a wonderful experience. I certainly didn't pick up on any of the off flavors the other reviewer had, as my bottle tasted rather fresh and fruit forward. I actually prefer this with a little age, but this was great with no cellar time. I will say that you have to like sweet, tart, big currant flavors to enjoy this. I can see where many wouldn't care for it. It worked for us, though.

Cassis, blue cheese, earth, and citrus on the nose. Lemon, cassis, herbs, cheese, and earth on the palate. Frankly, I'm not very excited by the sour, cheesy, garbage like undertone, but I can appreciate it for what it is....

Delicious! Tart but slightly sweet too. Pronounced blackcurrant flavour. Loved it.
