From a 500 ml. Golden yellow/orange in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of a complex nose of very ripe fruit aromas of yellow peaches, apricots, raisins & figs with overtones of caramel & floral notes of honeysuckle, orange rind, spices, minerals & a touch of vanilla. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, unctuous, ripe fruit flavors of yellow peaches, dried apricots & golden raisins with spices, caramel/honey, almonds, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Long lingering sweet finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 23 years of age is close to or at its peak of development. Although it should hold here for a few more years, any further development with additional aging is doubtful. A special "Thanks" to Robert for sharing it with all.

The Italian Wine Masters (Metropolitan Pavilion): The nose was sweet and racy with candied orange rind and spice. On the palate, it was fresh with sweet and sour citrus notes. The finish was long-lasting and pleasant.

Lots of life left in this wine. Drinking nice, but structure is holding up well
