Just good. Drank after 30 min in decanter. Meaty nose is nice as is the deep purple-black colors. A little thin on legs. Nice and velvety on the tongue. Taste could use some fruit.

This is quite a bottle. On the nose, sweet licorice and maraschino cherry.
Intense, tart flavors of dark fruits with slight sour apple candy, some musty earth and soy sauce. Very concentrated, with a bit of fire on the end. Can taste the Petite Sirah tannins. Medium weight and a strong finish with the tannins remaining.
Great now, but probably a little more integrated in a few years. Stellar.

After about an hour, acid smoothed and taste really came forward. A real sleeper but very nice after it opened!

Good bottle. But it needs another few years.
