  • Another great bottle of this lovely wine. Very well structured with high acidity and tannins well in balance. Awesome companion to an Italian antipasti dinner.

  • This is a second bottle I had that night, the results are consistent with the prior one. I served this at cellar temperature (unlike the first one). I am a fan of this wine.

  • This is the first time I try wine made from this grape, but it will not be the last. This is pale and light-bodied, almost rose-like, with gorgeous cherry and some berries on the nose. The wine is earthy and I find a hint of spice. There are a lot of tannins and high acidity, but everything is in balance here, and despite its light body this is an excellent partner to a variety of food choices. Highly recommended at $10.

  • a better bottle than the last one - this one was clean and pure from the start, with ripe and very lovely high toned fruit, flecked with something like blood orange, and very strong acidity, although the wine is perfectly in balance. Served at cellar temperature, this wine drinks like a rose or even a white wine, although there is a sneakily firm tannic structure here. delicious and definitely shows a sense of place.

  • Whoa Suzyn, this is reductive and stinky upon opening. needs to air out, and then is very lovely indeed. an earthy wine with tannic structure that reminds me of its more illustrious cousins, but there is also a lovely florality and fresh small juicy berries. good with dry fennel sausage.
