Very good bottle. Good filling, nice cork. AB-stand.
Nice colour. Red with an orange hint. Clear and pure.
Tea, spices, mature and complex fruit. The wine needed some air and reveals itself after 4 hours. Cherries, wild strawberries and lingonberries, autumn leaves and still a bit floral.
Very elegant on the palate. Everything in balance! Lovely silky tannins, still lively fruit, some cherries, a hint of wild strawberries, a bit meaty and salty. Good mineral and lovely acidity. Long finish.
Just a wonderful Richebourg :-) I bet this wine will live for another decade or two.

Rare Wine Dinner (Sydney, Australia): Fantastic nose of earth, sour red cherry, autumn leaves, stems and a undercurrent of florality. The palate had lovely complexity and texture, while still having a woven core of red fruit and acid lifting the wine. A terrifically appealing and balanced wine across all its elements.
