Drank from a 3 liter over the day and night of Christmas Eve. Really young as evidenced by sharp tannic edges and abrupt finish. Fortunately, I was able to coax some fruit out as it passed back and forth through multiple decanters. Pretty typical Pott wine with lots of oak, blackberry, and cassis. Definitely a crowd pleaser but about 5 to 10 years young and much better with food.
Didn't quite meet my high expectations, perhaps because of youth, but this also failed to evidence the Cab Franc typicity I expected. A heavily oaked nose. Dark blue fruits and savory aspects (grilled herbs and sweet tannins) on the palate. Nicely vibrant, just hard for this Pott aficionado not to deem this a failed experiment.

Popped and poured...dark and smooth, but not much fruit profile and could have been mistaken for an average merlot.

Too tannic to really enjoy. Opened all day and decanted for 6 hours. Not sure if this will come around in the future.

Very young. Will wait at least 5 years before trying again.
