  Decanted at 1862. This has the nose and palate of a Super Tuscan, bright red fruit and mineral on the nose and palate, proper restraint, nice acid and a long finish. Completely surprised this was from Napa rather than Tuscany, great QPR, too. This was fantastic paired with my medium rare duck breast, followed by gorgonzola in the cheese course.

  This is really a beautiful wine to experience, I've tried their Cabernets, but they don't even come close to this one.

  Nicely balanced Bordeaux blend. Boysenberry and eucalyptus jumped out at opening. Good depth provides long finish.
