  Cor violeta, bastante escuro. Lagrimas (muitas) bem formadas e persistentes. Passou pelo Magic Decanter. Nariz repleto de frutas negras e ervas amassadas. Notas de café, tabaco e petroleo completam o bouquet. Na boca revela toda a elegancia da safra 2009 (menos robusto que 2008 e 2007). Equilibrado, com taninos de medida correta, alcool integrado e uma explosão de sabores (frutas negras em destaque). Retrogosto agradavel de media duração.

  Opened it two nights ago and even after several hours it was rough and tannic. Stuck a cork in it (no vin-vac) and came back to it last night. Much smoother but still plenty of tannins. Red fruits dominate with a mix of slightly sour raspberries, ripe stawberries and an interesting note of pomegranate. If blind tasted I would have guessed South America or western Languedoc-Roussillon region.

  (Passou pelo MAGIC DECANTER). Este é um grande exemplar da cepa. Violeta, escuro e fechado, porém com brilho. Muito lacrimoso. Nariz terroso, rico em frutas negras e com notas de petróleo (tudo isso em camadas). Na boca o contato é macio (aveludado), elegante, pleno. Muitas frutas frescas (negras) e com o passar do tempo percebe-se cacau e traços de baunilha. Elegante equilibrado. Final persistente. Vale bem mais do que custa. Parece que ainda tem uns bons anos evoluindo na garrafa.

  Excelente vinho, porém ainda muito jovem. Taninos finos e elegantes. Crescimento garantido por mais uns cinco anos.

  Heritage Grand Wine Tasting (Ritz-Carlton - Chicago, IL): Great piney, herbaceous nose. Fresh and clean. Menthol on the palate. Excellent wine. Super surprising. Seek this out.
