  • Opened one hour in advance. Black fruit and leather aroma. Pleasant bitter cherry flavor. Tinge of licorice in the finish. Balanced, tasty, a little soft. Not a great Barbara, but a good Barbara at a great price.

  • Clear deep ruby in the glass. Clean, high-intensity nose of red and black fruits, earth, toast, spices and herbs, wet rocks. You can smell this one across the room! In the mouth: medium+ intensity flavor profile of blackberries, cherries, earth, toasted bread, herbs and spices, with some minerality. Medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium velvety tannins, long finish. Under $20.
