Waaaay too big for my taste. Huge tannins still in early 2020. Massive black fruit. Truly hedonistic wine, not for the meek or those that like red Burgundys!

This is an interesting but confounding wine. It's still woody somehow, even at age 9. Not overwhelmingly so, but on the nose the oaky sweetness is very present. On the palate, the wine flares up immediately; it's not clear if it is motivated by acid or alcohol. The fruit is luscious and typical of McPrice Myers.
In summary, I can't tell if this wine was better years ago or will improve years from now. But it is delicious now, if not particularly price-performing.

This wine is flat out awesome. I haven't tried this before, but right now it is singing. Powerful with balance and harmony. May be the best McPrice I have had. This needed time in the bottle. May continue to improve with additional cellaring...

Big nose, full body, totally silky tannins with a long finish. Red fruits, raspberry. Tastes like it has some age. Only negative is a little too much alcohol on the finish.

Still very good, but showed signs of aging. Not as crisp and clean as it used to be. Very enjoyable for our last bottle
