Peaches and oranges for the fruity notes. Pretty golden color. Not quite far enough to be flabby, but nowhere near as lean as I was expecting. Some diesel on the finish that brought it to a close nicely, though not particularly long.

14.5% ABV. Retasting a bottle of this at home over a couple days. subsequent to my tasting room note. Medium gold in the glass. This bottle tastes similar, but perhaps a little heavier and with a slight metallic/copper nuance. Floral/Nectarine/orange flavors dominate. Bit less enthusiastic than when tasting at the tasting room

Pre-Hospice du Rhone 2012; 4/25/2012-4/27/2012 (Paso Robles, CA): 14.5% ABV. Light gold in the glass. Ripe peachy nose. On the rich side, but not flabby or blowsy with flavors tending more toward orange on the palate. Good.
