Monthly tasting club LTC; No real theme, Fully blind challenge. (By me @ LWH): The previous bottle in April was still a feast, but this one showed caramel, honey, hay and raisins in the bouquet. On the palate a lot of nuts and sherry like flavors. If you like tertiary wines it is still ok, but for me in fact a bit too old now. No score.

Regular dinner group (@ My place): Yellow fruits in the bouquet, butter and some nuts. On the palate ripe white and yellow fruits, some butter, full bodied and good acidity.

Regular dinner group (@ MH): Yellow fruits in the bouquet. On the palate yellow and white fruits, a bit fat, smoky and toasty oak, marzipan, good acidity and a touch of sweetness. Ready now.

Upon first smell showed lots of promise: wood and vanilla. Color has turned into much more darker yellow than last time I tasted it. But then the taste is where it disappoints. It is not anymore what it used to be. Fruity fresh notes it had before are gone.It is still OK, and should pair well with risotto or so. Soft, tender, with not much kick. Drink this yesterday! No need to wait longer, rather the opposite.

Ageing fast. Showing lots of woodsy notes and first hints of oxidation. Fruit has started to fade... Still a really nice wine, but it has seen better days.
