No decant. Beautifully balanced and elegant with a solid frame. Long finish and so supple on the pallet. Red cherry with lots of mushroom overtones, earth and floras. Just gorgeous and still very fresh. Drink now-2020.

Hey, who'da thunk it. Tasted right after the '88 DRC Echezeaux and this one's better and more interesting in almost every department. This shows interesting tertiary flavors whereas the DRC was all fruit, but this is also notable for its slender, feminine figure. A real beauty.
