A bit past its prime. The bite is gone. Good overall flavor but doesn’t necessarily hold up with food. Solid wine overall and likely much better a couple of years ago.

Striking mineral and exotic floral notes on the nose. Both carry through to the palate along with pear and some tropical fruit. There is a zing of acidity with each sip that opens to a full-body. 50% Viognier, 30% Roussanne, and 20% Marsanne. If I dig further, I bet there is no malolactic fermentation used. This rates as a very good to outstanding wine. Well done, Sean Boyd!

(Rotie Cellars Southern White Washington State) Pale lemon yellow. An aromatic wine with aromas of white flowers, honeysuckle, ripe peaches, and marzipan. The palate is medium-plus bodied with a textured feel, full of citrus flavors. 50% Viognier, 30% Roussanne, and 20% Marsanne. Fermented and aged in stainless steel.
