The wine was very light and thankfully not loaded with oak. The downside is that overall it lacks most everything else for my taste, esprcially acid. There was just not enough balance in the wine to make it interesting to me. Not a bad wine in tge sense it tasted manipulated or full of woodchips so rated fairly well, but wouldn't bring me back either.

One of my fave Walla Walla Rhone producers; a 50/50 viognier/roussanne blend. Very pale clear vibrant color. Lots of stone fruit, peach, slight apricot, lush mouthfeel with out being flabby as viognier can be. Nice finish. Good solo, has me jonesing for some dungeness crab! Recommend.

(Rotie Cellars Roussanne-Viognier Washington State) Completely clear in color. Banana and pear aromas mark a wine that has yet to completely reveal itself due to the recent bottling. Crisp and clean on the palate. 55% Viognier; 45% Roussanne. 200 cases produced.

Clear light gold. Intense rich but oxidized nose. Apples, apricots and dried figs. Rich oxidized flavours and a rich dry finish.
The richness actually saves it. Otherwise it would be an oxodized mess.

5/4/2014 - KPieper Does not like this wine:
Notes of rubbing alcohol on the nose and finish. Did not improve with aeration.
