Lovely crisp yet buttery notes, disappeared way too quickly. Quite the bottle variation this vintage (all winery-direct shipped and stored under identical cellar conditions).

light gold.+nose of wet rock, dried apricot, honeyed oak. smoothed out oak layered with mineral and sweeter tropical and lemonish fruit. unctuous mouthfeel, with good acidity still. I'd worry about the oak if you want to age this too much longer, but this was a lovely, rich bottle.

Medium yellow color, a plentiful nose of peach, apple & pear backed with minerality. Compared with the 2010 River Block it is less dense, lighter in body but no less intense. Layers of juicy fruit flavors, some spice and a strong dose of mineral. It finishes with a floral smoothness mixed with the ever present minerality. Leaves one wanting another glass.
