Tasted at Indie Wine and Beer Bar on Green Street in San Francisco. (Tasted alongside a 2007 Kistler Durell. Deep yellow color, but much lighter than the Kistler. Nose on this tends toward pear and cream (but not butter). Fresh and classic. Very present in the mouth but also light on its feet. Spreads out nicely across the palate. This is drinking just beautifully now. Shows no signs of cracking, but no reason to wait either. Very fine. 5-12-18-9: 94/100.

Wine was in great shape. Med. legs, nice backbone of acid. Restrained oak. Honysuckle, pear aromas still very present. Easily has 1-2 years in the tank.
Finessed winemaking. One of the last vintages before Rochioli jumped the shark.

Bright gold in color. 14.5% ABV. Pretty nose of green apple, pears and honey. Medium to full body with perfect acidity. Rich and decadent with great mouth feel. Tropical fruits, lemon oil, vanilla creme brulee and butterscotch on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Tremendous Chardonnay. One of my favorites in the Rochioli single vineyard lineup. Best over the next 1-2 years.

PnP. Medium deep gold. Not really over the hill but long in the tooth; better than what I expected given other notes.
