  Sorry this was my last bottle. This wine was not built for aging but at 9 years this has improved!
  
  Opened and decanted in the glass for about 30 minutes. Dark purple, almost black in the glass. Nose of black fruits, cigar box and hints of pepper.
  
  On the palate the wine is mouth coating, full bodied and well balanced. The dark fruits are still shining and the oak imparted spices make up a full mid palate explosion.
  
  Decently long finish with the alcohol, tannin and acids in sync.

  Dusty is right. Fantastic. Chocolate and dark fruit. Well balanced. Beautiful mid palate

  Led with bright red and dark berry flavors, but definitely some earthy notes underneath. Some mocha and tobacco flavors on the finish. A little bit of heat.
